Developing a thrilling combination of Latin Trap, Reggaeton and Dembow; music producer, DJ and Latin dance choreographer Edwin Rivera is set to make an indelible mark by bringing together three generations of Latin music under one defining and historic moment when he produces a remixed version of Fania All Stars 1971’s original track, “Quitate Tu.” The remixed version, “Quitate” is set to be officially released on the 26th of August 2022.
Edwin Rivera brought together Jon Z, a new generation urban Latin musician, Ñengo Flow a second generation urban music artist and the Fania All Stars legend himself Adalberto Santiago who was involved in the making of the original version in New York almost 50 years ago. In what was then defined as Cha Cha Cha, the remixed version will blend the authentic Cha Cha Cha and add the extra pleasure of the Latin Trap for genre-defying results!
A listener can expect a mind-boggling sound at the intersection of the chill night driving elements of Cha Cha Cha, the motivating energy of Latin dance and the playful nostalgia of Latin Trap! You just have to be there to experience it really as this is like history being made all over again.
“Quitate” will be officially available on the 26th of August on all the digital streaming platforms. Meanwhile, you can now pre-save it on Spotify by following the attached link. While at it make sure you also follow Edwin Rivera on the attached socials and don’t let him slip off your radar even for a second for he is taking over the industry, one production at a time and I’d hate it for you if you were to miss out!
