Having grown up on the streets of the Southside of Waco in Texas, music was the escape route that offered STB Dee Jay the chance to not get hooked in the drug and crime activities that have always permeated the hoods. His careful consistency, bravery and persistent determination to make a career out of music brought him to his then mentor, friend, confidant, and financial helper Dairse Holder who was unfortunately shot and killed leaving STB Dee Jay on his own but he sought to continue on that legacy he and his friend was on course to build and instead of killing his spirits, it motivated him even the more. Currently signed under L.I.F.E Entertainment, STB Dee Jay is engineering a boundary-busting career in rap and it is only a matter of time before he scales superstardom!
“We Ok’ has to be the anthem of the summer; this certified banger has all the qualities of a hot club anthem from the top to the base and the level of passionate delivery it boats separates it from your ‘average anthems.’
STB Dee Jay goes extra hard on this one as he drips sense and authenticity throughout with his flawless rap-singing over the hedonistic and intoxicating synth-heavy beats. The deep-phased bass and atmospheric drums colored by the resounding 808s are met with versatile speed and effort from the charged-up Jay as he delivers a memorable performance that stays with a listener long after the track is gone.
The official music video has so far amassed over 72K views on YouTube and this visual complement is nothing but an eye-catching expensive affair that blends some spicy and raw pictures including the indescribably sexy female dancers to make this one complete and original body of work that is gratifying to watch.
