Barcelona-bred jazz band Soulcare has just delivered the live performance of the year with “Live at Milano Jazz Club”

Soulcare was formed with the goal of making and sharing the music they love with the world, and they still continue with that aspiration. Just recently, they made history with that live performance at the Milano Jazz Club that has been hailed by both fans and critics alike. This was a night not to be forgotten for all those gathered at the monumental Milano Jazz Club, with Soulcare providing a never-ending thrill with their original compositions as well as stunningly innovative covers of all-time classics. That is how “Live at Milano Jazz Club” was born. The band is fronted by Yann Gaslain, the lead singer and producer, and Rodrigo Pa-Lhen, the music producer and pianist.

This live performance is now available for streaming everywhere and captures the live performance exactly as it happened, with Soulcare’s tailored delivery and knack for specifics putting you right beside them as the music unfolds.

And this is not a result of overnight success; no, this is the culmination of more than 2 years of hard work, relentless pursuit of excellence, and indefatigable passion to make moments like this a reality.

It is the band’s hope that you will feel the music, enjoy it, and find it worthy of your playlist. To give you a taste of what the band unleashed, I’ve sampled a few tracks from this performance. Relish!

“Your Song” is the opening track and an ear-worming masterpiece that cannot be denied by the listener. The pleasantly hitting drums, the lush bass, the smooth guitar, and the lyric piano seamlessly combine for a luxurious sound that is made more stylish by lead vocalist Yann Gaslain’s rich and powerful voice.

The lyrics are easily quotable and allow a listener to get drawn into that romantic feel. The guitar technique by Hernandez is awe-inspiring and really stands out. The humorous approach to the delivery as the track gains pace is also a welcome addition to the listener’s eardrums and heart.

“When I Was Your Man” is a heartfelt, soulful, and soul-drenching cover of Bruno Mars’ 2012 original, with the band using their own creative foundation as a spectrum to reach new exciting musical grounds whilst still honoring the original composition.

The cello adds that cinematic thrill, and the rich piano by Rodrigo provides a bed of support for Gaslain’s lead and Zohler’s backing vocals to flourish.

I also enjoyed that performance in the Spanish-inspired “Étoile Filante,” which features a gentle crush cymbal followed closely by the equally gentle piano and that neat voice that soon enters, giving life to this magical tune. The combination of the cello and the trumpet with that concoction of the bass, drums, and piano is simply breathtakingly beautiful and hits the listener right in the spot.

This is what you can expect from this heartfelt live performance in its entirety, with Soulcare giving their hearts and souls to ensure a listener is thoroughly entertained and moved.

The live video can also be viewed on Soulcare’s official YouTube channel and is worth checking out.
