Hello Fiasco is a 5-piece band that has been seriously growing into history-makers with the level of artistry they have accessed! This band is fronted by lead vocalist Eric LaBossiere, and I’d like to give each one of them their flowers while they can still get them, for they are each simply exceptional. One of the most creative bands I’ve ever listened to by a factor of a million. Truly spectacular and pretty close to magical! In this day and age, authenticity is hard to come by, and this sincere band brings with it that originality in the way they fuse elements of modern and nostalgic rock!
The band has a new album; “Find the Shoreline,” that was inspired by Eric’s own journey through life. The contrite moments, the mistakes, the challenges, and finally the light at the end of the dark tunnel! This is an assurance that at the end of every tragedy lives a triumph, and beyond that adversity exists a bridge to enduring victory!
This 12-piece collection is more than just the music; it is life broken down along a melodic highway. You will marvel at the seemingly indestructible chemistry between them, and I would like to assume that it was not instantaneous but rather the result of hard work and complete openness. The way every track transitions into one another while still managing to remain seamless and authentic as an original body of work is nothing short of breathtaking!
There is something for everyone, whether it be the beautifully expressive melodies in “Gorgeous Girl”,” It Makes Sense” and “Hold Me Close” or even the deeply emotive ones such as “You Don’t Want Love”, “Before Time Leaves You,” and “Chess.”
I found a particularly intriguing fascination with “Hold Me Close,” which was an instant favorite to me. The consummate songwriting has been backed exceedingly well by the elegant arrangement, both in performance and delivery. Combining the flamboyance of pop and the charged character of rock, this tune transcends emotions and barriers, elevating it to a level so many listeners hope for!
The upbeat and euphoric guitars combined with striking drums lay the foundation, while the smooth, silky lead vocals immediately reel you in. His earnest tone brings life to the overall message. The backing vocals do exceptionally well to embellish the tune with flavor and ecstasy!
