If you still haven’t heard about the stunningly gifted drummer and arranger Noa Kahn, who has been grabbing headlines of late, then you really need to get serious with your life because clearly you’re not serious enough. I mean, how could you? I’ll let that pass for now, but just know that you can do better! Anyhoo, Kahn is back with another splendorous live performance for which there are not enough words that can describe such showmanship!
Themed “Bless Nature,” this melody was inspired by Noa Kahn, who felt it resonated with the sound of nature. She harmonized it and afterwards arranged it for a full band, and the result of it is wickedly amazing!
Tell you what, this performance is the case of when panache meets preparedness, with passion as the cherry on top! Noa Kahn lets you savor the thickness of precision and technique as she goes on to nail every bit of this performance like a prodigy of industrial discipline!
I have never stepped foot in any music school, but I know for a fact that it is not easy to fashion the perfect sync between the drum set and other sounds, especially when you are performing in a band, and that is what makes this performance right here indescribably perfect!
It is just like Noa Kahn melds into the shape of the band and she controls the tempo of the flows without necessarily inhabiting or overstepping but fits right in and goes on to create an otherworldly performance that you can just listen to all day and night long without ever getting enough of!
Superb performance that is so clean, nicely solid and tasty; – the tom-toms are lovingly hit and seamlessly blend with the snare-drum and kick drum- not forgetting the hi-hat cymbals to fashion a groovy body of work that is in perfect sync with the saxophone.
