MileHi was born and raised in Hackney, East London, and is currently in the West End production of Tina Turner. He has always possessed that knack for the commercial and there is absolutely something special about his music that makes you feel things- the way he is able to transform emotions into lyrics and then back that up with his smooth voice is why he is indisputably the artist to look out for now and in the future. His versatility has been allowing him to break through with style and authenticity as his sound reflects the multifaceted demeanor MileHi possesses. He is easily effective on the R&B grooves as he is on the Pop ones.
The track, “Mo’nin” was actually written during the Lockdown when the Pandemic had hit in 2021. It in a way contrasts brilliantly to those very restrictive times- echoing that freedom and good times that we really missed out on due to the restrictions that had been put in place to contain the spread of the virus.
This is a feel-good and infectious anthem that will continue playing in your head even after the tune is long gone. Breaking the boundaries present in R&B and pop, MileHi does not disappoint with his spectacular performance that leaves nothing to be desired really.
The beats are very upbeat and punchy and bring along a very danceable quality. His voice is raw, polished and crisp clean and he easily makes an anthem off of the lyrics with the highlight of this tune resting in that mind-grabbing hook section that engages a listener and leaves a hauntingly familiar feel on the ears.
Overall, every element here works closely with each other for a finished masterpiece that is the best to end the summer with. The stupendous production, mix and mastering don’t go unnoticed too and is what qualifies this as a radio staple that is going to leave a long-lasting impression on its listener.
